Its all been busy down here on the farm. Lambing time is always busy. In the middle of lambing the cheese making is coming along here at Dizzy Dairy. Soon be on sale at the door. We will be at Crackington Farmers Market on 18 April 2024. So do come along if you are local.

Lambing lets start with some cute lamb pics. Without the lambing process we wouldnt have Sheep milk for cheese.  Our tame/orphan lambs all snuggled up. How many is there? can you spot all 9??

A view of the lambing shed from above. the pens at the front are the sheep that have just lambed. At the back are the milking Sheep in operation.

Below the sheep in the maternaty ward waiting to lamb. They have access to outside space from this pen and alot of space at the sides not visible. They do like to stay together until the time arrives.

We had a lovely visit from Louisa a sheep farmer in Dorset. here is a link to what she kindly  wrote on her blog about the visit.
