The weather isnt great and the fields are boogy.
Time to move the milking ladies to a new field
So in typical rainy weather we moved the girls around to manage the grass. All I can say is thanks for lollipop lady jackets. They are high vis and dont breath so they are water tight! Might not be the most attractive but on these eh cliffs reduce the wind and rain effects. So its all about comfort. The ladies all seem fine. They will be scanned to see if they are preganant end of the month. Fingers crossed. 200% and female lambs would be the ideal. Just throwing it out there to the universe!
This project managment lark is a bit of a roller coaster ride. At the weekend the thoughts were will we complete on time. Will we get the trade professionals we want and co-ordinate it all so it all works in a timely and sequential manner . Fingers crossed after a few phone calls this morning it goes to plan. Tweeks and pokes if not!
The problem we have there is no lea way them lambs are coming ready or not, that only means them ewes are going to need milking in february. Enjoying the process though despite the worry. As they say will all come out on the wash and work out in the end.
