Its getting close. The Pregnant ladies are due on the 1st feb so any time now. The ladies have the radio on in the barn so they can have a little dance if they wish. We have found that having the radio on helps calm the sheep as they get used to voices.
After the ladies lamb the other commercial sheep start to lamb in march. They have been scanned and all in lamb majority are doubles, some triples and 2 quads. about 80 to lamb in march. So all busy down in the sheep shed. The CCTV comes into its own this time of year as we can keep an eye on the sheep in the shed and yard.
Environmental Health came to visit and are happy with our progress so regarding cheese its just about waiting for our milk to come to make this cheese.
